Management TeamStephen P Feehan, MBA, CLU®, ChFC®, CFP®Managing Director Stephen P. Feehan received his degree in economics from Albany State University and his MBA from Binghamton University. His designations include: Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), as well as Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP) which he received from the American College. He has also received his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards as well as his Accredited Estate Planner (AEP) designation from the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils. He has been a Financial Representative with the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network since 1998, a Registered Representative with Northwestern Mutual Investment Services, LLC since 1999 and is now a Wealth Management Advisor with the Northwestern Mutual Wealth Management Company. Stephen works with small to medium sized businesses in the area of employee benefits, succession planning and key person planning. He also works in the personal market place with high net-worth individuals in the areas of estate and charitable planning as well as wealth accumulation. As Managing Director for The Greater New York Group - Binghamton, Stephen takes on the unique challenge of balancing personal production and managing a district network office. Joseph R Leonard, MBAField Director Joe received his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from University at Albany. He has been a Financial Representative with the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network since 2003, a Registered Representative with Northwestern Mutual Investment Services, LLC since 2004 and is now a Field Director. Joe works in the personal market place, creating a Personal Needs Analysis to help families and individuals achieve and enjoy financial security. He also works in the estate market place, helping families and individuals maintain maximum control of their assets during their lifetime while building a lasting legacy for the future. Joe also works with business owners, creating a Business Needs Analysis to address the special needs of business owners-- whether they are executive bonus plans to attract and retain key executives, or insurance to protect owners and their partners in the even of death or disability. As Field Director for The Greater New York Group - Binghamton, Joe has the opportunity to mentor and develop all new Financial Representatives for their first 3 years in this career. He also assists with the recruitment process and helps introduce high caliber individuals to this career opportunity. Joe lives in Binghamton with his wife and two daughters and enjoys snowboarding in the winter as well as golfing in the summer. Experiencing diverse cultures abroad is one of his true passions. |
